A variety of tasks can be performed on vehicle air conditioning systems, including small and large-scale refrigerant levels as well as cooling fans. H&I Mesa shops can handle everything, from annual inspections or performance checks to replacement and diagnosis of system components. A qualified technician will also be available for any estimates or diagnostic checks. Regular inspections can help to maintain cooling efficiency and find potential refrigerant leaks.
Did you know that the national average warranty is 24mo/24k mile? We believe that the best proof of excellence in auto shops is their ability to stand behind their work. We back our work with a 5-year, 60,000-mile or more guarantee. Every shop may not be certified to work on European Automobiles. Think Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen, Porche, Audi, etc. H&I Automotive is proud of having one of the best European-certified technicians. We are thrilled to offer European Auto Service to our customers! The calendar dates indicate that it is still spring but hot summer-like conditions are already here. That's why we need to think about summer preventative care for your vehicle. It is important to perform preventative maintenance throughout the year.
Air conditioners work by cooling the air, taking out moisture and heat from it and then recirculating it as cool air. The A/C compresses refrigerant into high-pressure form and makes it liquid. The refrigerant then flows through high-pressure pipes to the condenser. The condenser is similar to a radiator. It introduces the liquid from outside to fresh air to absorb heat. Next, the liquid flows through the expansion valve/orifice tube. It is then restricted and transformed into a gaseous state for the low-pressure side.
The air conditioning system consists of three parts, the compressor, and the evaporator. The various valves, sensors, and other components connect these parts. The technician will need to nitrogenize the system. While this process isn't costly, it can take around an hour to complete at an average repair shop.
There are many causes of car overheating. Overheating can occur when engine combustion temperatures rise to 2000°F or higher. This is a lot of heat. Routine maintenance can save you money on costly repairs, avoid roadside breakdowns, and help your vehicle run longer.
Bad odors are not something anyone likes about an A/C. There are two possible causes for A/C odors. The first is dirty or old cabin air. A moldy evaporator case could indicate more serious problems. There are many reasons an AC may not function properly, as we have already mentioned. One of these possible causes is a problem with one or more of the AC components.
