Anxiety disorder and its signs and symptoms is not a random, unknown, or uncontrollable disease or illness. Anxiety disorder is also not caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain, a genetic predisposition, or biological problem with the brain. Anxiety occurs when we behave apprehensively. For example, webster's dictionary defines anxiety as: a state of uneasiness
and apprehension, as about future uncertainties. A state of apprehension, uncertainty, and fear resulting from the anticipation of a realistic or fantasized threatening event or situation, often impairing physical and psychological functioning. Anxiety by itself is not a disease or illness, but turns into disorder when anxiety interferes with a normal lifestyle.
