1. A true classic

Created by the artist couple Victor Ving and Lisa Begss who have painted more than 60 murals in 25 states, thus devising a tour of mural-postcards throughout the American Union, their mural in Tucson accounts for the cultural richness of the city, from its fabulous gastronomy, heritage from pre-Hispanic times to colonial times, the enigmatic Tucson desert, to its traditions and the emblematic University of Arizona.

2. Colonial style

It was built by the Jesuit order during the colonial period and is known as the white dove of the desert. There is a spectacular baroque architecture characteristic of its construction period that gives the building a very southwestern feeling.

About 20 blocks occupies the Historic District of Tucson, located just south of the Tucson Convention Center, it is one of the best preserved areas of the city, and is characterized by a large number of buildings that exhibit traditional architecture, in which the thick adobe walls, terraced houses and vibrant colors. It was painted by Rock Martinez, a Tucson artist who began his journey in this field through graffiti, in collaboration with Cristina Perez. In total, the mural covers nearly 250 square meters.
