We just bought a house that has been owned by the same person for the last 45+ years and needs a complete overhaul because nothing has been update in that long. We’re talking 2 full baths, kitchen, new flooring throughout, removing a couple walls, and a basement remodel that includes gutting and starting fresh. The house is ~1800 square feet and the basement will be another 800 or so. We plan on doing all of the demo ourselves and are planning to do as much else as we can. This took some extra time, but it ensured that we had all the necessary materials, down to the smallest part, to make this a successful renovation.
