Wondering if there is a good option out there for some fencing that can be easily put and taken down. The hens usually are out for a few
hours in the morning to roam, and we've had a couple who have hopped the fence from time to time, and recently have had some issues getting them back in the coop in an orderly fashion (they used to just run back in at the propsect of some treats, now a couple tend to straggle elsewhere).
Can anyone recommend a way to build a fence that is temporary and that's relatively inexpensive? something that doesn't require posts to be set in the ground (renting, so it's not allowed). It's mainly to keep my dog (40lb shepherd mix) enclosed but i would also like to have some sort of a backyard aswell.
I've looked into dog runs but they're usually too small to be ideal for creating a space big enough for a backyard. I'm looking to close off an area between 30 - 40 feet wide by 10 feet in depth. It needs to be atleast 6 feet high (my dog can already clear a fence 5 feet in height).

For dogs that respect boundaries the snow fencing will be fine. We used it for years with no issues. It was only about 30" tall and the dogs could have jumped it or crashed through it but never even tried. We put it up with wooden stakes. Cheap easy and fast. But the dogs we fenced in wih it were never left unattended, we are not near a road with temptations, they had a low prey drive, and they were lazy and content to stay at home anyway. Also it was an area of about two acres so plenty of room.
